Housing Ombudsman Case ID - 202339100 [REF/Qo/vG/db/d0/] - Review completed Mam/Sir, I have received a reply from Katherine Brown who has reviewed this case and now closed the case - but with no details of any next step; as it happens, I listened to Richard Blakeway as a guest on Radio Five this morning (which programme aired issues that were very familiar) - is it appropriate to send M Blakeway an email directly?  The latest determination includes: "This is because the issues raised in this complaint concerning antisocial behaviour were previously raised and addressed in another complaint, (case reference 202016302). You were issued with a determination letter about this issue on 20 December 2023. As such, while your evidence is new we are not able to re-investigate a matter that we have already made a determination about previously." From memory, I complained that the first determination of this current case (202339100) included the suggestion that I was 'out of time' - I have supplied evidence that appears to have convinced Katherine that I am indeed 'within time'; so it appears I must now convince the Ombudsman that the two referenced complaints, though inevitably related, are sufficiently distinct. The earlier complaint (202016302) found for me and against the Council's ASB Department in the way that it had dealt with my neighbours; the current case (202339100) is asking, why did the Council involve the Police, presumably to persuade them to arrest, rather than give me a ring? I was merely negotiating a fair hearing (in an independent location) with the Council when the Filth showed at my door! The rest, as they say, is history! I haven't made much progress with the Police and the Courts (which process is currently halted), but please don't let the Council get away with their antics! DAustin Lye Village Stourbridge
